How to read this page
This is a directory, not a manual. Each entry says what the app does in one line and links to its page on this site. Everything the apps share — records, views, permissions, automations — is covered by the rest of this guide and works the same whichever apps you have installed.
Some apps also have a full how-to guide covering their day-to-day operation. Those are listed below and in the sidebar. Where an app doesn’t have one yet, its card links to its product page instead.

Installing and removing apps Admin
The store lives under Settings → Billing & Marketplace → Apps. Installing an app adds its screens to your sidebar and, in most cases, drops one or more managed entities into your workspace — real entities with real records, which behave like anything else you’d build yourself.
- Uninstalling doesn’t delete data. Removing an app takes its screens away; the records stay. Re-installing picks up where you left off.
- Leftover entities are your choice. If uninstalling leaves an entity that nothing else uses, you’re asked per entity whether to keep it in the sidebar or hide it. Hiding removes it from the sidebar only — nothing is deleted.
- Some apps need another app first. Ecommerce and Manufacturing build on Point of Sale; Onboarding & Offboarding builds on HR Records; most marketing channels build on Audiences. The store installs those for you.
- Some apps need setup before they can be installed at all. Anything that talks to an outside account shows a Needs config badge until whoever runs your BackOffice has supplied the credentials.
Installing an app doesn’t hand it to everyone. Most apps are restricted on install and you grant access per app under Settings → Workspace → Module Access, including which actions inside the app each person can take. See Permissions & access.

Point of Sale
Touch register for retail and counter service: product catalog, warehouses, stock tracking, receipt printing, refunds and a checkout that moves stock in one transaction.🛒Ecommerce

The marketing apps share one Marketing section in the sidebar. Omni Marketing is a bundle: installing it pulls in the individual channels your plan allows, and skips the rest rather than failing. It plugs into Reconciliation, and its documents land in that app’s inbox, outbox and audit log. Its credentials page is reached from Reconciliation’s connectors list.
Other — account connections
These aren’t apps with screens of their own. They connect an outside account so the other apps can use it — a sign-in provider, a mailbox, a messaging channel. Most need whoever runs your BackOffice to supply credentials before they can be installed, and once connected they show up under Settings → Personal → Integrations. See Integrations & API.

An app brings behaviour a workspace can’t express on its own — a till that moves stock atomically, a ledger that balances, a connector that speaks someone else’s protocol. A template brings structure: entities, fields, views and automations you could have built yourself, packaged so you don’t have to. They live in different places and install differently — see Templates & apps.
